    RAMA Internship Positions Now Available!

    RAMA is seeking Production Interns to support its marketing, production, and business development. Looking for motivated, responsible individuals passionate about the uplift of the Pan-Asian family. If you’ve always wanted to join the movement, now is your chance!

    Internship Title: Production Intern
    Number of openings: 2
    Length: Until mid-June, with possibilities for extension.
    Internship Demands: 5-10 hours / week, variable depending on events.

    Description:

    Are you interested in breaking into the Pan-Asian Arts and Entertainment world? Would you like to help produce professional shows and watch your efforts come to life on stage? RAMA is a Pan Asian arts and entertainment organization founded in the San Francisco Bay Area. By providing exciting and accessible platforms for the imagination of new Pan Asian artistic identities, RAMA inspires creativity and integrity in the community. RAMA is seeking help from a passionate intern seeking to gain experience in the Arts industry. You will be directly mentored by a member of RAMA and will be meeting and working with professional musicians and artists based in the Bay Area. You will meet and engage with local media outlets. You will develop strategies to market and target customers. You will gain experience in:

    - Production: Signing and Booking artists, managing their needs before and during the show, and coordinating logistics with the venue regarding lighting, sound, and stage management.
    - Marketing: Viral online marketing, Networking, and other Marketing Strategies for small business / entertainment.
    - Event Planning: Coordinating Events such as fundraisers, dinners, team-building, meetings and anything else needed to create a professional show.
    - Funding: Preparing and pitching sponsorship packages to businesses, coordinating fundraisers

    Desired Skills and Requirements:

    - Meet weekly for 2-3 hours with RAMA Member (flexible)
    - The equipment and ability to work on projects at home via Internet (telecommute), and attend occasional meetings in Berkeley.
    - Flexible calendar and schedule
    - A passion for the Arts and Entertainment world
    - An interest in social issues regarding Asian American Entertainment
    - Self-motivated to take on projects and deadlines, Team Player, Good communication skills, etc. etc.
